That's a wrap: How HoneyBee is saving the world one step at a time

HoneyBee Wrap

What's better than an environmentally friendly business? One that doesn't compromise on style and design in its quest to save the world. Enter HoneyBee, the company that wraps everything up in a beautifully presented package - literally.

What is a HoneyBee wrap?

Forget about wrapping up your food in plastic wrap ever again. HoneyBee wraps are homemade retail hanger wraps that can be reused time and time again. They're made from a blend of 100 per cent organic cotton, jojoba oil, natural beeswax, tree resin and coconut oil, making them about as natural as they come. The result is a flexible wrap that can be used over and over, for up to a year per wrap. If you think about how much money you spend on plastic wrap per year, and where that plastic wrap ends up (hint: landfills), you'll no doubt recognise HoneyBee as the strike of genius it is.

The wrap can be moulded to the top of dishes and around food products simply by using the pressure and warmth of your hands, creating a seal to help keep items fresh and delicious. Whether you're keeping all your cheese in one handy package or want to wrap up the kids' sandwiches for school, HoneyBee has you covered.

Who and what is involved with HoneyBee?

The vibrant, beautifully designed wraps are handmade by a mother of five on her farm in Byron Bay, NSW. The family supports organic, green living and is constantly looking for ways to reduce waste, including plastic. After looking into how food was stored before the advent of plastic, the idea for the safe, non-toxic and environmentally friendly wraps was born.

We don't like to toot our own horn, but we're behind the paper and ink used by the HoneyBee brand. The company extends its natural ethos by using 100 per cent post-consumer recycled paper, alongside our vegetable-based inks.
